Ottawa 2017
First weekend branded Flambeau Noir
The name Flambeau Noir is attached here for the first time. Hosts publicly associated with the weekend included Jeremy Crow, Helene Arts, and Justin Dickie. Presentations, vendors, and an art current shared the hotel.
Presenters who appeared
Don Webb, Thomas Karlsson, Michael W. Ford, Rachel Summers, Jeremy Crow, Helene Arts, Lloyd Keane, Shani Oates, Jex Blackmore. Contemporaneous coverage also places Richard Kaczynski and Nico Mara-McKay on the programme. Names announced who did not present are omitted here.
What survives
- Post-event wrap-up (Jeremy Crow)
- Indiegogo project text and contemporaneous write-ups
Documentation was captured with the idea of a disc and a book. Those did not become the public record. The wrap-up video did.
